What to Wear for Paintballing

Footwear

Be sensible; you are taking part in an outdoor activity, in Scotland, year round. It can get wet and muddy. Ideally wear a pair of hiking boots with ankle support, but as a minimum a pair of trainers with some grip. Do not wear shoes with heals or with no grip (that will slide on grass).

Clothing

You will be provided with a camouflage overall that will cover all your clothes. The overall are not waterproof so clothes underneath the overall may still get wet. If any paint from the paint balls gets on your clothing, it washes out really easily.

Padding

Year round you tend to get hot when playing paint ball, choosing clothing can be a tricky choice. If you wear too much you get hot, but don’t feel it as much when shot. Wear too little and it hurts more when shot. Extra padding is always available at the centre to put under your overall.

Gloves

Bringing along a pair of gloves is highly recommended. If you don’t padded gloves designed for Paint Ball are available for hire at a cost of £2 per day.

Protecting Your Head

A full face mask is provided which covers your face and the side of your head. The back and top of your head remain unprotected. It is recommended that you wear a hooded top or hat (beanie style works well) to protect your head.

What To Wear  - Key Points

    • Gripy Outdoor footwear
    • Older Clothing
    • Bring Gloves – or Hire for the day
    • Wear a hoody or hat to protect the back of your head

How much will Paint Ball Cost?

If you have booked online you will already have paid some of or all of the cost. When booking there is the option to pay the full value or a deposit. If you paid the deposit then the remainder of the chosen package fee will be due on arrival.

Bronze Package

Unlike the Silver and Gold paintball packages, Bronze package does not include any ammo as part of the package. If your group booked the Bronze you will be expected to buy Paint Balls before playing. During the session if more ammo is required there will be a tab where players can sign for ammo, then settle up after the session.

Your Safety when Paint Balling

The safety of our customers is very important to us.

All our staff are all Qualified First Aiders. To ensure your safety we give a clear safety briefing at the start of your session. During game play if anyone breaks one of the rules that are set to keep all safe, we stop the game and re-brief on the arising issue. If a problem still priests, the person(s) responsible for the rule break will be asked to leave - with no refund.

If all participants stick within the rules that are set to ensure safety - everyone will have a great time.
